Its almost the new year, so have you thought about Feng Shui in 2014?
Each year the qi changes and has different influences. What may have worked last year, may not have the same positive effects this year. In Feng Shui there are cycles of time. These can be 180 year cycles, 20 year cycles, annual cycles, monthly and daily cycles. We need to take into account the larger time cycles, but often the most important cycle that you can have a direct effect on is the annual cycle.
In Feng Shui theories, the actual change of the New Year is not the Western Calendar date of 1/1/2014, but rather, it takes place on the “Spring Establishment” which falls on February 4th.
This upcoming year is the year of the Horse. Further, the #4 Green Wen Qu star visits. This is an auspicious star, especially for entertainers, literary professions, and scholarly pursuits. With the new year will come adversity in both the political arena as well as with potential health risks in the East.
Although the year starts on February 4th in Feng Shui, it is not too early to start thinking about changes you need to make to your home or business. Small changes to your environment, such as adding Water in certain directions, or perhaps the use of Metal in others, can improve prosperity and relationships.
