Why 168?
We are often asked, why did you choose the numbers 168 as part of your business name?
There are two answers actually, first it is a set of numbers that sound very close to “Continuing Prosperity” in Cantonese. You have probably heard that 8 means prosperity. This is because it too sounds very close to prosperity or money in Chinese. This is why you see a lot of 8’s, 88’s, etc. in Chinese phone numbers, license plates, etc.

The second reason for the name 168 Feng Shui Advisors, is that the number 1 represents the Kan trigram, the number 6 represents the Qian trigram, and lastly, the number 8 is the Gen trigram. These are very good trigram numbers and when doing a Feng Shui reading, these numbers are indicators of favorable areas of the house.
