7 Most Effective Ways to Fail with Feng Shui

(A tongue and cheek look at Feng Shui)

So you want to fail at Feng Shui?

You want to really mess it up? Here are the top 7 ways to screw up your Feng Shui:

1. Follow the advice of all the Feng Shui books on the market. So many of them are such wonderful junk that they will naturally lead you straight to frustration. It is even better, if you follow all the advice in all of the books.

2. Use bagua mirrors, lucky cats, elephant statues, flutes, 3 legged toads, dragon statues, and any other charms and trinkets you can lay your hands on. In fact, add them ALL to your house.

3. Paint your room red or black. Or perhaps both… These extreme colors are sure to generate your failure. Want an accident, or severe money delays, then these colors are for you.

4. Buy the house that is dead on to a busy street. Make sure all the traffic is directed right at your front door. Try to have the qi flow that is so strong, you have all the comfort of a wind tunnel.

5. Position yourself with as many sharp angles pointed at you as possible. Find the 90 degree angles and plop yourself down right in line with it. Actually, just find a nice sword and hang it above your seating area at your desk.

6. Do the opposite of what is comfortable. Sleep in a brightly lit room. Have your entry way ceiling placed too low. Find the most closed in, dimly lit, stuffy, and claustrophobic place to work in. Sleep under as many beams as possible.

7. Make sure you always find a way to position your back to the doorway. If you work in a cube, put yourself so that your back is to the entry. Setup your office, so when people walk in, they are looking straight at your back. This is better if there is a lot of foot traffic behind you.

By following these simple tips, you are sure to enjoy miserable health, well-being, and bad fortune.
