Feng Shui Tip - The South in 2008
As mentioned in an earlier post, the 5 yellow star comes into the South in 2008. The 5 yellow (earth) star is one that brings troubles with it. This can include money delays, accidents, and other mishaps. It is best to avoid this area, but if you cannot avoid it, the remedy is using metal objects in that area to reduce the bad earth qi.
South relates to the fire element, so many books and websites recommend adding fire to the South. Unfortunately, for 2008, if you were to add fire or the color red in the south, you would trigger these negative energies brought about by the 5 earth. Fire produces earth - this Feng Shui rule holds very true. So the 5 earth is being strengthened in the South/Fire direction. Adding more red or fire in this area will strengthen the negative qi of the 5 resulting in problems and delays.
Please remove any red from the South this year and replace it with metal (metal reduces earth). That will remove this negative qi and will help to prevent any mishaps for you this year.
