How’s your Ming Tong?

All buildings need a Ming Tong. What is a Ming Tong? It is the flat space in the facing side of the building. It literally means “Bright Hall.” In the front of your house, is the area directly in front beautiful, welcoming, and have a good balance of light and dark? Often porches or trees will create a dark entry. This is not favorable. You want a open and well lit entry to the home or building.

Check your own entry/front yard. Is it welcoming, or is it overgrown and dark? Keeping the Ming Tong clean and beautiful will enhance the overall prosperity of your home.

Be sure to read more about the Ming Tong in the forthcoming class from the American Feng Shui Institute, Site and New Home Selection.
