Feng Shui Tip - Remove Smell Sha

The first thing a trained Feng Shui master does when they enter a home is to use their senses to observe the environment. Is it too hot, too stuffy, noisy, etc. How does the home initially make you feel? Is it too dark, or is it balanced. They are looking for sha.

Sha is a word meaning “negative influence”. So when you are applying Feng Shui to your home, the goal is to remove sha in your environment. Take a look around and see what sort of negative influences you have.

One of the strong sha types is smell sha. Smells that are unpleasing can affect the Feng Shui of your home. Smells that are pleasing, only enhance the Feng Shui. So take out the garbage frequently. Avoid any rotting fruits. Keep the cat’s litter box clean. There are many other things to think about. Keep in mind that you do not want any negatives and only positives in your environment. Take a critical assessment using your senses the next time you enter your home. If there is anything that smells or is creating a sha, take care of it once and for all.
