Feng Shui Tip - Springtime Environment Check

Now that we are in Springtime, you need to make sure that your plants and trees are properly cared for. Realitors call it curb appeal, but in Feng Shui we want to ensure that there is nothing that creates a sha (negative influence). So make sure that you do not have any overgrown plants, bushes, trees in your yard. If a shrub died last year and you see that it did not come back, remove it. Make sure with this sudden growth spurt in your plants, that nothing is blocking the free flow of qi to your front door.

Often times, plants will become overgrown and block the entrance. Keep them trimmed back. If you have any water features in your yard, such as a fountain, please keep the water clean and fresh. Green algae sometimes gets started, so use some water purification treatments to keep the water clear and clean. We have often seen that if the water is dirty, or stagnant, then it reflects in the lives of the occupants. If the water is clean, flowing, and beautiful, then it will help the prosperity of the homeowners.
