Feng Shui Tip
Now that the Western New Year is behind us, it is the time to begin thinking next year in terms of Feng Shui. The new year according to Feng Shui begins February 4th. There are two types of New Year events in Chinese culture. There is the Lunar New Year which will be celebrated on January 29th and there is the Solar New Year which begins February 4th.
The Lunar New Year is often mistakenly used in Feng Shui. Since Feng Shui is based on the seasonality of things, the correct time to implement changes is February 4th. Remember that Feng Shui is based on the Solar Calendar.
2006 brings the trigram Zhen into the center palace. This trigram relates to disagreements and gossip. It can also lead to thunder and explosions. So be wary of disagreements and walk away from gossip. Also since the annual Zhen wood trigram is dominating the 20 year trigram of Gen earth, then this is a year that could see problems involving children and even earthquakes. On the up side, it is a year of expansion and new developments. Much of this comes from the 2006 Astrology and Feng Shui Guide.
If you have not yet purchased a copy of the 2006 Astrology and Feng Shui Guide, please consider it. Filled with useful tips on how to make this year a prosperous one for you, it is worth its weight in gold!
