Feng Shui vs. Subway Line

“Sorry sir, the subway doesn’t stop here due to the Feng Shui.”

In Asia, people take Feng Shui very serious. Case-in-point, In Taipei, Taiwan there is a controversy over the Subway, or in this case the Elevated Train being too close to a building and obstructing the free flow of qi.

The article talks about the support columns blocking the qi. This makes sense in Feng Shui terms. However, what they fail to mention is the amount of sha (negative influence) the subway would create for the building. The noise, the unfavorable view, and the dirt and debris. All of these are considered sha. Additionally, the rush of qi is like a strong river and would not allow the building to retain qi.

So with that in mind it is understandable that there is a protest over this subway from the building owners.
