The Truth about Fengshui
Is Feng Shui a science? Or, is it art? I believe that it is an unproven science. It uses standard methods and has theories that can be replicated.
However, according to Stephen Field, “fengshui cannot be considered a science unless qi can be proven to exist. It is not a religion because qi is not a spirit. And it is not a philosophy because its component theories have no basis in fact. That only leaves one possibility. fengshui is an art, and its individual practice is a work of art.”
Despite my slight difference of opinion on the science of Feng Shui, I consider his articles very informative and interesting. He presents feng shui topics from a scholastic perspective. He has one of the best historical perspectives in English. Read more:
